One Journalist has this week made a pretty positive Chelsea prediction ahead of a crucial time for the manager, the players, and the club.
February could make or break the season for Chelsea, with some big games coming up, none more important than the League Cup final.
But Chelsea do not return to Stamford Bridge now until after that game, right at the end of the month, but Ben Jacobs believes that could be a good thing.
Before that, they have to go to Manchester City and try and get something from that game, as well as Crystal Palace tomorrow night, which is never going to be an easy place to go to.
Then after those games, it’s Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, and we all saw how they completely destroyed Chelsea in the league game recently.
Then they’ll be back at Stamford Bridge on the 28th for the FA Cup match against Leeds United.
But Jacobs believes this could be a good thing, taking a more positive spin on this crucial period.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jacobs said…
“Even though Chelsea have not been good on the road, putting a bit of distance between themselves and Stamford Bridge, as strange as it may sound, might just help if they can get a few big away results. Then when they return to Stamford Bridge, they might be victorious in a League Cup final or they might have strung some wins together in the league, and then you would expect the fan base to rally and get behind.”
