Inferno was a far closer endeavor than the second map, Vertigo. The first map saw NiKo tear through MOUZ alongside an unexpected star CT performance from Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen. However, NiKo proved that he still had the ability to tear apart opponents on the big stage—and he’s the main reason G2 flourished on Inferno. NiKo’s high number of first kills put G2 in a solid position to close out the rest of the round. On the MOUZ front, Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo pulled off some miraculous clutches to keep MOUZ in the fight. But, it wasn’t enough.
